Are you ready for some football?

The title sounds better to music on MNF but oh well! It looks like my camera is going on me. I took some fun pictures at the Bears game when they were in town last weekend. I can't get them to upload! The tailgating was totally fun! The stadium was so loud when Cutler was on the field. If I can figure out my camera problem, I will post some pictures!

To all you football fans out there, here is for a GREAT season!! I have to get used to drinking on Sunday morning at 10:30am since that's when the games start! I'm sure it will be difficult....

Denver Broncos Training Camp

So I ventured out to Broncos traning camp to see Knowshown Moreno, but HE HASN'T SHOWN UP YET! Champ Bailey didn't practice, either. Those UGA guys sure are lazy (ha ha). But I got some pretty cool pictures of some other players. I'll go back in a few weeks to get more. Enjoy!!

Goodness; there are actually Braves fans here!!!????

Thanks to Donna Barrett, she got me tix for the Braves/Rox game! It's right smack in the middle of downtown with over 100 restaurants/bars within 5 blocks. Out of all the places, we ended up at a GREEN BAY PACKERS bar! I can't believe there is even such a thing in Denver! Anyway, the game was a blast; the fans are nice and polite (not rowdy) and we didn't sweat to death because it actually cools down here at night. I can't wait to go to another game!! Thanks, again DB!!

Biking is Great!!

So, I ventured out and made it to the Chatfield Reservoir. It was pretty amazing. I guess in a few months they have this hot air balloon event there. I'll probably ride my bike again to check it out!!!

It was a blast! It is so weird; several people I work with bike to work regluarly so it wasn't even anything out of the ordinary for them. People bike a lot here to get places. It's really cool. I love it. They had a "Bike From Work Bash" after the work day. Free beer. I drank 3 and then had to bike home. Awesome day!!

I'm enjoying my work; figuring out my role. I have GOT to get my bike fixed this weekend and start saving for another bike so I can have two! It's ride to work day next Wednesday and it's insane! Last year they had over 50,000 participate! It's like a party in the morning. I don't know how to ride my bike and dress up for work at the same time. Should be an interesting outfit.

Do I really have to start work TOMORROW???

Well, the fun is officially over. Not that this last week has been fun but I can't believe I have to start work tomorrow. No summer vacation for me!!!! I am really really nervous. It will be nice to have a commute of 2.2 miles instead of 26 miles. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight. I may pack my lunch in a "normal" lunchbox instead of my Bears one. I have to act "normal" for the first few months at least so they don't think I'm weird. I'm sure they will figure it out soon enough! Give me a couple of days and then I'll let you know how the new job is!!!
